The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead complex technical projects within GE Precision Healthcare, driving the successful delivery of in ative healthcare solutions from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of strong technical acumen, exceptional project management skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare technology landscape. Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. * Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. * Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, communication plans, and change management processes. * Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track. * Manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, developers, product managers, and other technical specialists, fostering collaboration and accountability. * Communicate project status, progress, and challenges clearly and concisely to all stakeholders, including senior leadership. * Ensure adherence to GE Precision Healthcares project management methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HIPAA). * Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools, incorporating best practices and lessons learned. * Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and methodologies to optimize project delivery and product performance. * Act as a technical liaison between various teams, translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans and ensuring seamless integration of components. Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Masters degree is a plus. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably within the healthcare technology domain. * Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software or hardware-based projects from conception to deployment. * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable. * De strated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project) and collaboration tools. * Experience with regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry (e.g., FDA regulations, HIPAA) is a significant advantage. * Solid technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts, architecture, and design tradeoffs. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
