Job Summary:

Direct & Indirect Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Taxation:

• Manage all aspects of corporate income tax including computation, filing, and assessments.
• Ensure timely filing of income tax returns, TDS returns, and advance tax payments.
• Handle tax audits, assessments, appeals, and litigation matters with authorities.
• Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities within the legal framework.
• Review agreements/contracts for tax implications.

Indirect Taxation (GST & Others):

• Oversee GST compliance including returns, reconciliations, and payments.
• Manage GST audits, assessments, and litigation.
• Evaluate and advise on tax impact for various real estate transactions (sale of flats, land, JDA, redevelopment, leasing, etc.).
• Handle RERA and stamp duty related tax implications.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities for resolving complex tax matters.

Advisory & Strategic Support:

• Partner with business and project teams to provide tax-efficient structuring solutions.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, GST, and real estate-related tax policies.
• Advise management on tax risks, exposures, and opportunities.
• Lead internal training and awareness programs on tax compliance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  Direct Tax, Indirect Tax (GST), RERA, Stamp Duty & Real Estate Taxation

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  tax audits, litigation, and assessments

  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to business scenarios.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and tax software.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

  with specialization/experience in taxation.
• 710 years of relevant experience, preferably in the

  Real Estate or Infrastructure sector

• Strong exposure to

  direct & indirect tax compliance, advisory, and litigation management
