Senior - Tax BFSI Professional

- Assist in the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations.- Analyze financial statements and transaction data to identify tax implications and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulatory requirements specific to the BFSI (Banking, financial Services, and Insurance) sector.- Support tax planning initiatives by researching and interpreting complex tax laws, rulings, and changes that impact BFSI organizations.- Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations, deferred tax computations, and reconciliation of tax accounts for financial reporting.- Work closely with internal finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with statutory deadlines.- Monitor and Analyze tax risks, ensuring that tax policies and procedures align with corporate strategies and regulatory frameworks.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess tax implications of new products, Services, and investment structures.- Support indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, and withholding taxes, ensuring proper reporting and documentation.- Assist in responding to tax audits, notices, and inquiries from tax authorities, gathering required information and preparing necessary documentation.- Utilize tax software and analytical tools to streamline tax reporting and compliance processes, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.- Stay updated on emerging tax regulations, policy changes, and industry best practices to provide insights on tax risk mitigation and optimization opportunities.- Collaborate with external advisors, consultants, and legal teams to address complex tax matters and implement best practices for tax efficiency.
