Senior Tax Associate

As a Tax Advisory Team Manager, your role involves leading a team of 15+ associates to ensure timely task completion and professional development. You will directly engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide tax advice, and guarantee a smooth customer experience. Your responsibilities will include coordinating on-ground operations such as document collection, audits, and physical verifications. It is vital to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal SOPs, managing expenses, monitoring profitability, and analyzing financial data to propose strategies for client financial improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor management to ensure timely delivery and cost control. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, train, and manage a team of 15+ associates to ensure timely task completion and professional development - Interact directly with clients to understand their requirements, provide tax advisory, and ensure a seamless customer experience - Coordinate with clients/vendors for document collection, audits, and physical verification of business sites - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs for all tax filings, documentation, and operations - Monitor team productivity and client profitability to track cost versus revenue for margin improvements - Analyze financial and tax data to identify savings, reduce liabilities, and propose actionable strategies for client financial health - Onboard and manage external vendors (e.g., auditors, compliance partners) to ensure timely delivery and cost control Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field - Proven experience in tax advisory, team management, and client handling - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal SOPs - Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial data analysis - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions - Vendor management experience is a plus,
