Role Overview

We are hiring a

Senior Street Light System Designer

to lead the design and development of

LED and solar street lighting systems

. The role requires expertise in

product/system design, compliance, and tender support

, ensuring cost-effective and innovative solutions aligned with Beelite’s OEM manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop LED & solar street lighting systems including optics, drivers, housings, thermal management, and controllers.
  • Develop smart lighting solutions with IoT-based controls, dimming, and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with BIS, IEC, IS, EN standards and government tender requirements.
  • Provide technical support in tender submissions – drawings, compliance documents, and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Production, SCM, and QC teams for project execution.
  • Conduct field trials and customer demonstrations.
  • Drive innovation, cost optimization, and sustainability in designs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in LED & solar street lighting design (drivers, optics, power electronics).
  • Proficiency in Dialux, Relux, AGi32, CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of solar PV, batteries, smart controllers, and IoT protocols (Zigbee, LoRa, GSM, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT).
  • Familiarity with tender specifications, certifications (LM-79/80, IP, IK, BIS, IEC).
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
  • 10–12 years of experience in street lighting or outdoor lighting product design.
  • Hands-on experience with government tenders and OEM projects preferred.
