Senior Support Engineer - Python

We are looking for a Senior Python Support Engineer with a strong background in Windows Server Administration and Python scripting to join our Lab Operations Team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing and supporting global virtual lab environments used for technical training. You’ll combine your system administration expertise with automation and scripting to ensure seamless delivery of stable, scalable, and responsive lab platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration (Primary – Windows Focused)

• Provision, monitor, and maintain Windows Server–based lab environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, RDP access, and Windows networking
• Manage Windows-based applications and services used in training labs (e.g., domain controllers, firewalls, management consoles)
• Create and manage virtual machines in VMware ESXi/vCenter environments (snapshot, clone, template management)
• Configure access controls, firewall rules, and networking for multi-tenant lab environments
• Provide support for trainers and students using global remote labs
• Assist with Linux VM configuration and troubleshooting (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)
• Support remote access platforms (Guacamole, VPN, RDP gateways, SSH)

Python Automation (Secondary)

• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate:
• Lab deployment and teardown
• Scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting
• Monitoring and health checks of lab systems
• Integrate tools and scripts with APIs (e.g., vCenter, scheduling systems, MongoDB)
• Enhance and maintain internal dashboards and scheduling systems
• Document and improve internal tools that streamline lab operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration
• Strong expertise in VMware virtualization (ESXi/vCenter)
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation (advanced level)
• Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows networking
• Familiarity with Linux systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Flexibility to work across multiple shifts, including night shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
