Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure suppliers deliver high-quality parts and materials that meet Rockwell Automation standards. You will monitor supplier performance, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Supplier Quality and work on a hybrid schedule in Bengaluru, India.

Your Responsibilities:

Audit and Evaluation: Manage supplier approval processes, qualify suppliers through audits, and create audit schedules.
Issue Management: Conduct root cause analysis, lead issue resolution, and monitor corrective actions.
Supplier Relationship Management: Communicate with suppliers, monitor performance, and drive improvement projects.
Cross-Collaboration: Work with engineering and design teams for risk mitigation and provide quality feedback.
Analytics and Data Management: Define quality metrics, use data-driven insights, and benchmark best practices.
Risk and Compliance: Identify risks, define process controls, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Masters.
8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or related roles with electronics/electrical commodities.
5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP and ERP systems.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.
Green or Black Belt certification; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Expertise in supplier audits, risk management, and compliance.
Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (8D, Fishbone).
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile tools, and data visualization (PowerBI).
Experience in continuous improvement and predictive analytics.
