Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Supervisor - S&T

to support signalling and telecommunications activities for the

Adani_Surta_014 project

. The role involves supervising installation, testing & commissioning, and maintenance of railway signalling and telecom systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in railway S&T systems and the ability to manage site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation, testing & commissioning of
Signalling & Telecom (S&T)
systems as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate day-to-day site activities with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensure strict adherence to railway safety rules, quality standards, and project timelines.
Monitor progress of S&T works and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Conduct site inspections, identify snags, and ensure timely rectification and closure.
Assist in system integration, interface coordination, and pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant
IR / Metro / RDSO
specifications and contractual requirements.
Maintain proper documentation including test reports, checklists, as-built drawings, and commissioning records.
Coordinate with other disciplines (Civil, OHE, Rolling Stock, Power Supply) for smooth execution of works.
Support audits and inspections by clients, consultants, and statutory authorities.
Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, instruments, and testing equipment at site.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

Diploma (3 Years) in
Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering
, or
B.E. / B.Tech in
Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering

Experience

5-10 years
of relevant experience in
Railway / Metro Signalling & Telecom
projects.
Hands-on experience in S&T systems installation, testing & commissioning.

Key Competencies

Knowledge of railway signalling systems (interlocking, block signaling, track circuits, axle counters, points & crossings).
Understanding of telecom systems (OFCC, PA system, CCTV, clocks, data & communication systems).
Familiarity with
RDSO / IR / Metro
safety and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
Strong site supervision, coordination, and leadership skills.
Good communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Adani railway projects or large EPC infrastructure projects.
Exposure to integrated railway systems and multi-disciplinary coordination.
Willingness to work in shifts and at project sites as per requirement.
