Key Responsibilities & Work Profile

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be deeply engaged in:

* Technical Leadership

* Serve as a crucial decision-maker and advisor on all structural design detailing, ensuring the soundness, safety, and innovation of our unique steel structures.

* Lead the structural design process for first-of-their-kind projects, from conceptualisation through to execution.

* Advanced Analysis & Bespoke Design:

* Perform and oversee advanced structural analysis for complex geometries and load paths using cutting-edge FEA software.

* Conceptualise, analyse, and design complex, parametrically-driven steel junctions and joinery that are both structurally robust and true to the architectural vision.

* Design Review & Mentorship:

* Conduct rigorous peer reviews of designs from the team, using your expert eye to pinpoint lacunas and elevate the quality of our engineering output.

* Mentor and develop a team of talented junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, curiosity, and innovation.

* Integrated Workflow & Documentation:

* Collaborate seamlessly with architects and the project execution team in a dynamic design-build environment.

* Work in an integrated digital workflow, using FEA software in conjunction with AutoCAD for perfect design coordination.

* Author and approve comprehensive design basis reports and calculation packages that clearly document the engineering principles behind our novel designs, strictly adhering to Indian Standard codes.

* From Design to Reality:

* Meticulously check and provide final approval on all fabrication drawings (shop drawings), ensuring a flawless transition from your design to the finished product.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Technical Proficiency:

* Expert-level understanding of advanced structural mechanics, stability, and steel behaviour.

* High proficiency in at least one of the following major FEA software packages: STAAD Pro, GSA, or NiSA FEA.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD for coordination and drawing review.

* Mastery of Indian Design Codes, including IS 800, IS 875, and IS 1893.

* A proven portfolio of designing complex, fabricated steel connections and non-standard structural systems.
