Senior Structural Engineer

Job location : Muscat, Oman

Lead large-scale structural and civil engineering projects, acting as the focal point for the Structural Engineering discipline and assuming full responsibility for design, coordination, and delivery of the structural scope.

Requirements:

•Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

•Minimum of 15-20 years of consultancy experience

•Prior experience in Oman and/or the GCC is preferred

•Strong leadership capability with proven experience taking responsibility for complex projects

•Broad knowledge of different structural design aspects (geotechnical engineering and heavy foundations, water retaining structures, VE considerations from different structural systems etc.)

•Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, and ROBOT (Modeling and load application)

•Expertise in advanced structural design methodologies, including:

o Seismic and dynamic analysis

o Use of vibration analysis techniques and tools to assess structural performance under dynamic loads

in accordance with international standards

oAcquittance in Eurocode and American standards.

•Mentoring Junior Engineers

•Fluent in English
