We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer to lead the Structure design for projects. This position is for Zoo project in Kozhikode, Kerala and Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Responsibilities Design and analyze retaining walls and RCC structures , ensuring compliance with IS codes and BIS standards. Conduct structural calculations, load assessments, and stability checks for foundations, beams, slabs, and columns. Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports. Utilize structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for accurate modeling and design. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution. Provide structural solutions for challenging site conditions, including soil stability, seismic considerations, and drainage impact on retaining walls. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Optimize structural designs for cost-effectiveness and sustainability, considering material selection and construction techniques. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution. 3-6 years of experience in designing retaining walls and RCC structures for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Strong proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and other structural analysis software. In-depth knowledge of IS codes, BIS standards , and other relevant structural design guidelines. Experience in performing structural calculations, seismic analysis, and load assessments for various building types. Ability to coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and execution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and cost-effective structural solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and client coordination. Experience in site visits, inspections, and structural audits to verify construction compliance with design standards. Candidate should have minimum experience of 2 years and should have experience on working on large scale project - Transit hub, High rise, Office building, Landscape Projects. The candidate shall lead the structural design team for large zoological project in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall. Responsibilities Provide direction, coordination, planning, and completion of engineering projects. Communicate with clients to understand project requirements. Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements. Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes. Manage project design and deliverables as well as other design team members, supervise the work of engineers and modelers, and direct project staff in preparing contract documents such as drawings and specifications. Checking of work being done and modifying workplans in order to ensure QA/QC is always maintained . Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of work experience as Structural Engineer at reputed company.
