As a Senior Structural Engineer / MWS Engineer,
you will lead MWS reviews, carry out reviews, project management and coordination of MWS projects, oversee a team of engineers and be responsible for the planning, verifying, execution and delivery of projects and marine warranty and engineering consultancy scopes. In addition, you will also:
- Undertake Marine Warranty scope of work - project management for MWS services, undertake reviews, attend meetings with clients, onshore and offshore site surveys for approving operations.
- Supervise (prepare) as required and assist in design, calculations and analysis for designs of various Structural Engineering elements pertaining to the project in accordance with international codes and standards.
- Assist and/or lead projects (as assigned by the manager) to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs and quality standards established by ABL and/or the Client.
- Responsible for the execution of projects and deliverables in accordance with quality and HSE standards.
- Perform concept and detailed design / analysis of various fixed / floating offshore structures and MODUs.
- Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required.
- Maintain responsibility for Structural Engineering integrity, prepare working forecasts, identifying change management plans, and corrective action as well as real time schedules.
- Ensure all deliverables carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and Structural Engineering-related reviews. Evaluate and prepares concept selection reports and basis for design.
- Assist with preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs. Developing new business.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and motivation to subordinates and provide training to personnel new to the structural systems analyses and design as required.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will lead marine warranty scopes, engineering reviews, and coordinate offshore project activities. Additionally, you will bring:
- 7+ years experience in transport & installation engineering for offshore assets.
- Performed loadout, transportation, and offshore lift analyses for Jackets, Decks, Piles, and Conductors.
- Strong knowledge of structural codes and standards (API, AISC, ISO, DNV, IMO, etc.).
- Skilled in applying marine operation standards to structural design and analysis.
- Experienced in leading project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
- Strong project and people management capabilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in ORCAFLEX, MOSES, OFFPIPE for pipelay, cable lay, mooring, and installation analysis.

Desirable:
- Master s degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent; Chartered Engineer status preferred.
- Member of Society of Marine Warranty Surveyors (SOMWS).
- Extensive field and design experience in marine operations: loadout, transport, installation of jackets, top sides, pipelines, and subsea structures.
- Prior experience in modularization projects, heavy lift cargo movements, and SPMT operations.
- Familiarity with MWS processes and vessel inspection protocols (suitability, on/off hire).
- Offshore field engineering experience in fixed platforms, subsea installations, shore pulls, and J-tube operations.
- Strong understanding of classification and industry codes for naval and structural engineering design.
