Description
Storage & SAN Management: Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Hitachi SAN storage systems. Implement storage zoning, LUN provisioning , volume management, and multipathing. Monitor storage performance, manage capacity planning, and optimize utilization. Ensure integration and compatibility with other storage platforms, including NetApp . Administer Veritas backup solutions, ensuring data availability, integrity, and security. Configure and manage Brocade SAN switches , including ISL setup and zoning . Maintain strong expertise in SAN protocols such as Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, SMB , and multipath configurations . Infrastructure Support: Conduct routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades on SAN and NAS systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues related to performance, connectivity, and data access. Collaborate with IT teams (server, virtualization, database) to ensure storage alignment with business requirements. Develop and support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity strategies. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all storage architectures, configurations, and operational procedures. Generate regular reports on storage performance, capacity, and trends. Provide clear, actionable recommendations for storage optimization, upgrades, and future planning.
