Senior - Statutory Audit

Roles & responsibilities:

We are recruiting for a Senior in the Audit team. As a Senior of an engagement team, your responsibilities will include

:•Being active member to delivery quality audit deliverables of end to end audit engagements of international KPMG clients you are allocated

.•Embrace and implement KPMG audit methodology to work on complex sections of the financial statements of audit engagements as per country specific statutory requirements and prepare and document accounting workpapers, controls and audit findings

.•Plan and perform risk assessments work, work with clients on PBC requirements, work assignments to engagement team members, Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved, etc

.•Establish strong professional relationships with clients and engagement team members through regular connects and meetings.

.•Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with engagement teams on issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved, etc. while maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members

.Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance

Mandatory technical & functional skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

.•IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft softwares like Excel/ Word/ PowerPoin

•Experience with working independently on audit assignments or engagements

Work experience

•1-2 year of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4

firm•If the candidate is an ICAI affiliate, CA articleship with top or mid -tier accounting firm.
