Job Summary:
The Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and assisting in perioperative care in the Operation Theatre (OT). This role involves supervising junior nursing staff, maintaining clinical standards, and ensuring adherence to protocols to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Patient Care:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients in ICU and OT.
• Monitor patients’ clinical status, recognize early signs of deterioration, and take appropriate action.
• Assist in surgical procedures and manage preoperative and postoperative nursing care.

✅ Clinical Skills:

• Operate and maintain critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps).
• Prepare OT instruments and maintain sterility as per protocols.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and other therapeutic interventions accurately.

✅ Team Supervision:

• Guide and mentor junior nurses and nursing assistants.
• Participate in training programs and continuous professional development activities.
• Ensure documentation and reporting are complete and accurate.

✅ Quality & Safety:

• Adhere to infection control practices and safety standards.
• Participate in audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and statutory regulations.

✅ Communication & Coordination:

• Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide updates to patients’ families and address concerns professionally.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid registration.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in ICU and/or OT (experience in both preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing practices and perioperative care.
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing / OT Techniques (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
