Job Title

Senior SQL Developer (6+ Years Experience) – AI-Enabled Data Solutions

Experience

5+ years of experience in SQL Development, Performance Optimization, SSIS, and AI-assisted data solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, performance tuning, and SSIS, along with the ability to leverage AI and machine learning techniques to enhance data processing, analytics, and automation. The role involves building scalable, optimized database solutions while adopting AI-driven insights, automation, and data intelligence where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server database solutions
Perform advanced SQL performance tuning and query optimization
Develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS ETL pipelines
Use AI-assisted tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI, etc.) to accelerate development, troubleshooting, and optimization
Implement data quality checks and anomaly detection using AI/ML techniques
Support predictive analytics, trend analysis, and intelligent reporting
Automate database maintenance and monitoring using AI-driven insights
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
Participate in code reviews, release planning, and production support
Should be able to support US clients , where 5 – 6 hrs of overlap with IST and US time zone are required
Candidate should be able to support and maintain day to basis activities to support business
Can work under pressure and great eye to details

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong expertise in T-SQL, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions
Proven experience in SQL performance tuning (execution plans, indexing, statistics)
Strong hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL design, transformations, error handling)
Experience handling large-scale and high-volume data
Distributed system

AI & Data Intelligence Skills

Practical experience using AI tools for:
SQL query optimization and refactoring
ETL troubleshooting and automation
Root cause analysis and performance insights

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis or ML integration
Exposure to Power BI, SSRS, or advanced analytics tools
Experience implementing CI/CD for database and ETL deployments
