About this opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Engineer to join our Ericsson team. As an Activation Engineer, the candidate will possess Prior experience on Telecom Provisioning COTS products. Provisioning/ Activation, Core N/W architecture understanding of one or more telecom architectures

What you will do:

As a System Integration Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and integration of activation and provisioning systems in live telecom environments.
Analyse and understand technical requirements as defined in solution or design documents
Install and configure provisioning systems at customer sites
Integrate systems with relevant Network Elements (IMS, LTE, IN Nodes, etc.)
Execute integration testing and resolve technical issues proactively
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist customers through acceptance phases.
Provide regular progress and risk updates to Solution Architect and Customer Project Manager (CPM).
Continuously upskill in emerging solution areas and pursue relevant certifications

The skills you bring:

Telecom Core & Service Layer: Provisioning & Activation flows in Mobile cellular and Fixed Line landscape, LTE,IMS,5G concepts.
Operating Systems: Linux (System Administration level proficiency)
Clustering Concepts: Basic understanding of HA and redundancy setups
Virtualization – Conceptual Awareness and Hands on experience
Docker and Kubernetes- Conceptual Awareness and Hands on experience
Networking: Good understanding of IP networking, client-server architecture
Protocols: Proficient understanding of TCP/IP, Telnet, SOAP, REST, XML, etc.
Proven experience with Telecom Provisioning COTS products
Preferred Hands-on experience in – Any Activation COTS product
Clear understanding of Telecom subscriber and service provisioning concepts
Strong exposure to server installation, configuration, and integration activities
Working knowledge of industry-standard telecom protocols and interfaces (SOAP/XML, REST)
Working experience on Testing tools for example- SOAP UI
Experience in addressing live Node Activities
