Senior Software Engineer II, Salesforce

As a Senior Software Engineer II at Marriott Tech Accelerator center, your role will involve providing technical and solution architecture expertise to deliver critical capabilities in an enterprise platform. You will be responsible for defining scalable and secure system solutions, leading engagements across multiple teams, and making decisions on complex service requests with moderate risk. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing deep expertise in defining architectural and technical software solutions - Offering recommendations on forward-looking technology and tools for future system development - Mentoring and training team members as necessary - Creating technical solutions for complex business needs and estimating the level of effort required - Ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards and review processes - Coordinating with IT and vendor relations teams for deployment and production support activities - Following IT governance standards and processes, providing input for improvement when necessary - Validating and managing Service Providers" aspects of project plans - Monitoring Service Provider outcomes and resolving service delivery problems in a timely manner To excel in this role, you should have: - 6-8 years of software development experience using Java, Javascript, Python - 4+ years of experience in developing architecture solutions for complex systems - 4+ years of experience with cloud-native services, scalability, security, automation, CI/CD, and public cloud platforms - 5+ years of experience with relational and non-relational databases - 3+ years of experience with messaging platforms like MQ and/or Kafka - 4+ years of experience implementing enterprise-scale MDM or PIM solutions - Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder relations skills - Working experience in the e-commerce domain and industry - Working experience with tools like Jenkins, Harness, AWS, Docker, Apache Solr, LucidWorks Fusion, Dynatrace, Splunk, Service Now, JIRA, Confluence - Worked with AI/ML models integrations Additionally, having relevant technology certifications would be beneficial for this role.
