Digital Solution Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will execute assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing curate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in the assigned area of software development, software quality engineering, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity, software release, support, and maintenance, and/or release management, with limited supervision.
- Contributing independently to the software development lifecycle that includes requirements, conceptualization, prototyping, design, coding, testing, release, and subsequent maintenance and operations.
- Owning and driving highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.
- Identifying and categorizing different user personas for the platform and applications independently, with the aim of tailoring and defining the user experience, user interface, navigation, and workflows to suit their respective roles.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, and 6+ years of experience in software development
- Candidates must have strong skill set of C# Fundamentals & Advance features, Coding guidelines, .NetCore ,.Net Standard & Framework
- Strong hands on experience with Angular , Material Framwork & HTML5, WebAPI & Entity Framework Core (Databases), Azure deployment, Service fabric & Kubernetes and DevOps
- Extensive experience on establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the platforms and setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
- Should have experience in developing solutions and successfully taking on complex technical problems and higher responsibilities
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of SDLC process, Agile process , should demonstrate innovation in processes followed and Successfully deliver solutions and in complex customer system landscapes
- Participate in Requirement Gatherings, design discussions, Documentation and reviews with ABB team as needed
- Knowledge on industrial software, or manufacturing domains would be highly beneficial.
