The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the RDS (Repository and Derivative Services) Delivery Team, you will be part of the Application development of the GTR (Global Trade Repository) platform.You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the other GTR regional teams (verticals) and the horizontals / CoE within the RDS group and across DTCC. You would actively participate and contribute on developing and delivering a robust and scalable platform solution as per the regulatory and client requirements.The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, crafting, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle sophisticated business problems.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirementsConstruct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirementsFollow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussionsCreate and maintain system documentationAlign risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriatelyContribute to the design of components or individual programsProvide production support for applications as neededApply different software development methodologies dependent on project needsWork with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
2+ yrs of exp in SQL in Oracle/Postgres/MySQLExperience in Python is plus but not mandatoryExperience in AWS is a plus but not mandatory Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
