Senior Software Analyst

As a member of the Repository and Derivative Services (RDS) Delivery Team at DTCC, you will play a crucial role in the application development of the Global Trade Repository (GTR) platform. Working within an Agile squad, you will collaborate with various GTR regional teams and the horizontals/Center of Excellence (CoE) within the RDS group and across DTCC. Your contributions will focus on developing and delivering a robust and scalable platform solution in alignment with regulatory and client requirements. The Software Engineering role will involve planning, detailing technical requirements, crafting, developing, and testing software systems and applications, working closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users to propose solutions for complex business problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements - Construct unit test cases to ensure compliance with requirements - Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions - Create and maintain system documentation - Align risk and control processes to monitor and mitigate risks, escalating as needed - Contribute to the design of components or individual programs - Provide production support for applications - Apply different software development methodologies based on project needs - Collaborate with peers to enhance ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience In order to succeed in this role, you should possess the following talents: - 2+ years of experience in SQL in Oracle/Postgres/MySQL - Experience in Python is a plus but not mandatory - Experience in AWS is a plus but not mandatory At DTCC, you will benefit from comprehensive health and life insurance, well-being benefits, pension/retirement benefits, paid time off, personal/family care leaves, and a flexible/hybrid work model.
