About our OTT Business Unit

The Media and Entertainment industry is one of the top focus segments for TO THE NEW and its team works with some of the leading Broadcasters, OTT Platforms, Studios, Distributors and Pay TV Operators as part of its OTT Solutions and Services business unit to deliver them end-to-end technology and engineering services for their OTT business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop SmartTV applications for Samsung TV and LG TV.
• Perform Integration with Analytics using third-party services.
• Participate in code reviews in accordance with program specifications and coding standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, user experience leads, QA leads, and technical leads to analyze customer needs and business requirements.
• Participate in Scrum meetings, design discussions, new designs, changes, and enhancements, and team code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing Smart TV apps for Samsung TV (Tizen) and LG TV (WebOS).
• Deep understanding of JavaScript and JS frameworks.
• Good understanding of playback KPIs.
• Good understanding of player development or integration.
• Understanding of development for different platforms like Mobile, Web, Set-Top Box, Smart TV.
• Good understanding of partner ecosystem.
