We are hiring Senior Site Engineer - PMC ( Residential Projects) for a leading Construction Company
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 15–20 years of total experience, with at least 5+ years in a PMC environment.
- Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure, buildings, or mixed-use development projects in a PMC role.
Senior Site Engineer with a background in Project Management Consulting (PMC) to represent the client on-site and ensure that projects are executed in full compliance with design, schedule, and quality expectations. The role involves supervising contractor activities, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the contractor’s site activities to ensure adherence to the approved design, specifications, method statements, and HSE regulations.
- Act as the client’s representative on-site, ensuring construction is carried out in line with contractual and design obligations.
- Identify delays, quality issues, or deviations early and escalate appropriately with recommendations.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Participate in site meetings, technical workshops, and progress reviews.
- Review and comment on shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests submitted by the contractor.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, local codes, and project-specific QA/QC requirements.
- Conduct and/or witness inspections and testing as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in closure with proper corrective and preventive measures.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly site progress.
- Assist the PMC team in validating contractor progress claims and identifying potential claims or variations.
- Support the PMC team in preparing progress reports and dashboards for client review.
- Work closely with planning and cost control teams to provide inputs for schedule monitoring and budget tracking.
- Assist in monitoring key milestones, critical path activities, and deliverables.
