Senior ServiceNow Developer

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer at Compucom, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the way our clients manage IT. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the delivery of IT self-services by developing customized IT Service Catalog solutions on the ServiceNow platform. To excel in this role, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow application development, proficient JavaScript skills, and a solid grasp of ITIL and systems integration. Your ability to collaborate effectively within a team, prioritize customer satisfaction, and enjoy tackling challenges will be key to your success. Additionally, you should be self-motivated and capable of independently managing projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: - Adapt existing methods and procedures to devise solutions for moderately complex problems - Utilize innovative technology to improve business processes, develop new solutions, and troubleshoot issues - Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to design appropriate technical solutions - Provide timely status reports on outstanding development needs to project managers - Offer insights on options, risks, and impacts on business processes and technical architecture - Effectively communicate technical problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences - Possess preferred scripting knowledge in JavaScript and implementation experience in Service Catalog/Service Request - Expertise in Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, AD, SSO, LDAP, Import Sets, DB and Flat file integration - Understanding of relational databases, including advanced SQL scripting Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Angular JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap - Minimum of 3 years of experience with scripting using JavaScript, GlideScript, Apache Jelly, XML, and GlideAjax, and one or more Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS - Minimum of 3 years of experience with creating ServiceNow business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and actions - Minimum of 3 years of experience leveraging the ServiceNow APIs, including integrations and web services - Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills - Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assignments - Experience with the full software development or application implementation life cycle - Aptitude for learning new applications and technologies - Ability to assess the impact of solutions on the organization as a whole About Compucom: Compucom is a leading provider of digital workplace services dedicated to enhancing work experiences through innovative solutions.
