The Security Operations Team protects Akamais systems and infrastructure while promoting internal security practices. Collaborate directly with product and platform teams across the organisation.

As a Senior Security Analyst, monitor and respond to security events and inquiries from customers and vendors. Gain exposure to complex tasks within the role. The position requires technical expertise and knowledge of recent threats and adversarial techniques.

As a Security Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and driving process improvements in Security
Operations and Incidents
Coordinating with Incident response and engineering Team to handle
efforts during security Incidents.
Ensuring threats are identified and escalated accordingly across
multiple business units.
Investigating and finding root causes of incidents and document
the lessons learned

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have at least 5 years of relevant experiences in Security operations and IT Security.
Possess IT Security expertise in CEH, Comptia Security+, CCNA, SANS, CISSP, or Incident Response.
Demonstrate some experience of software development using Python
Demonstrate hands-on experience working with SIEM platforms
Possess expertise in Endpoint, Network, Perimeter security solutions; demonstrate familiarity with Windows, Linux, OSINT.
Work rotating monthly shifts (Morning: 6:00-14:00, Afternoon: 14:00-22:00) with weekend on-call duties.
