Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master at Pega, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the Scrum events and coaching the development teams to enhance efficiency and foster innovation and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include: - Facilitating Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. - Coaching the Scrum Team on implementing Scrum practices and principles. - Identifying and removing impediments hindering the team's progress. - Acting as a shield for the team, protecting them from external distractions. - Monitoring the team's progress during the Sprint and ensuring they stay on track towards achieving Sprint goals. - Creating and developing a Transformation Roadmap for effective and long-lasting change. - Establishing and measuring KPIs to track business delivery. You are someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, share ideas, and navigate conflicts to build a common understanding in a healthy work environment. You focus on continuous improvement and are an effective servant leader who can work independently or collaboratively with minimal direction. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor of Science in a technical field. - Experience in planning, scheduling, and delivering complex software projects. - Proficiency in Agile scaling models and frameworks for co-located and distributed teams. - Experience in coaching teams, product owners, and leadership. - Ability to adopt new agile techniques and enable teams to deliver faster. - 5 to 8 years of combined experience in development, business analysis, project management, testing, architecture, or technical documentation. - 3 to 5 years of full-time Scrum Master experience in a complex environment. - Working knowledge of software lifecycle development disciplines.
