Job Description

Job Summary:

SAP BODS Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy ETL jobs using SAP BODS.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various source systems to target data warehouses.
Optimize and troubleshoot BODS jobs for performance improvements.
Work with business and technical teams to gather and analyze data integration requirements.
Create technical documentation, data mapping, and data flow diagrams.
Conduct unit testing and support integration/system testing phases.
Work with SAP and non-SAP data sources (e.g., flat files, databases, SAP ECC/S4HANA, etc.).
Collaborate with functional teams to support data migration and data quality initiatives.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in
SAP BODS
(version 4.x preferred).
Proficiency in building complex BODS dataflows and workflows.
Experience with
data migration, cleansing, and validation
.
Solid understanding of
ETL processes
and
data warehousing concepts
.
Experience with
SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA
, or
SAP BW
integrations is preferred.
Hands-on experience in
SQL
, performance tuning, and error handling.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools like
Control-M
,
Tivoli
, or
SAP DS Management Console
