Job Description

Senior Sales Officer ABI Pulp & Paper Equipments

Location:

Role Objective

To expand Abi Pulps footprint across South Indian paper mills, build strategic customer relationships, and achieve targeted revenue growth within 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business from paper mill clients in Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Karnataka.
Understand mill requirements & provide roller application solutions.
Conduct plant visits, requirement analysis, quotations & negotiation.
Manage order execution lifecycle and ensure on-time delivery.
Build a strong customer database & maintain CRM discipline.
Coordinate with operations, production & service teams.
Track market competition and pricing trends.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Represent ABI PULP at exhibitions, events & technical meetings.

Required Expertise

Strong technical knowledge of
rubber rollers,
calendar rolls, press rolls.
Understanding of paper production processes & machine challenges.
Experience managing large-scale mill accounts and procurement teams.
Ability to read technical drawings and provide sizing suggestions.
Excellent communication, reporting and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Candidate Background

BE / Diploma – Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
Experience working with industrial rollers or paper mill machinery.
Fluent in English, Tamil and/or Malayalam/Kannada/Hindi preferred.
