📌 Job Role: Senior Sales Engineer – MV/LV Panels

A Sales Engineer in the electrical panel industry bridges technical expertise with customer relations, ensuring clients get the right solutions while meeting sales targets.


✅ Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in LV/MV panels, IMCC, MCC, PCC, APFC panels.
  2. Understand client requirements and propose customized electrical panel solutions.
  3. Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals.
  4. Collaborate with the design & engineering team for technical feasibility.
  5. Generate leads and build relationships with contractors, consultants, EPCs, and industrial clients.
  6. Stay updated on IEC 61439 standards, IS codes, and competitor offerings.


🎯 Skills Required

  1. Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
  2. Understanding of panel design, switchgear components (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, LK, etc.).
  3. Technical presentation & communication skills.
  4. Ability to read single line diagrams (SLD) and interpret BOQs.
  5. Negotiation and customer handling skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD basics, CRM tools.
  7. Experience in the industrial automation and instrumentation is a plus.


Experience Required

  1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  2. 5-6 years of experience in sales of electrical panels/switchgear industry.
  3. Proven track record of success in sales and achieving targets.
  4. Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, SLDs, and BOQs.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD/CRM tools.
  7. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.

  1. Monthly/quarterly sales targets achieved.
  2. Number of new accounts/clients developed.
  3. Order book value & profitability.
  4. Client retention & repeat business.


Salary Compensation : 10 - 12L per annum CTC + Incentives
