Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Sales Target Achievement Drive sales performance in the assigned region to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume, revenue, and market share targets for heavy commercial vehicles.
  2. Dealer & Channel Management – Develop, support, and monitor the performance of dealers, distributors, and channel partners to ensure strong network presence and effective customer coverage.
  3. Market Development – Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and customer segments (fleet operators, logistics companies, construction, mining, etc.) to expand regional sales.
  4. Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, fleet operators, and institutional buyers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  5. Team Leadership – Guide and mentor Area Sales Managers / Sales Executives in the region, ensuring proper execution of sales strategies and capability development.
  6. Competitor & Market Intelligence – Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend proactive strategies and countermeasures to the Zonal Manager.
  7. Sales Operations & Planning – Ensure effective demand forecasting, vehicle allocation, and coordination with supply chain/logistics teams for timely deliveries.
  8. Brand Visibility & Promotion – Drive regional marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, roadshows, and customer engagement programs to enhance brand presence.
  9. Collections & Profitability – Monitor outstanding payments, support dealers in improving collection efficiency, and drive profitability through cost control and pricing discipline.
  10. Reporting & Coordination – Provide regular updates to the Zonal Manager on sales performance, challenges, competitor insights, and strategic initiatives; ensure seamless coordination with cross-functional teams (service, finance, marketing).
