Location: Bangalore Experience: 6 to 10 Years Job Type: Full-Time Shift Timing: Flexible to work US ET shift (11 AM ET to 8 PM ET) Job Summary: InvestCloud is looking for a skilled and proactive Sr. Release Engineer to manage and support the deployment, automation, and maintenance of software releases across various environments. This role involves collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage platform-level software releases. Prepare and maintain detailed Runbooks with clear execution timelines and dependencies. Deploy, configure, and maintain software in Linux, Windows, and AIX environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate release activities. Manage the Change Management process using tools like ServiceNow. Perform server administration tasks and run SQL queries for troubleshooting. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Linux shell scripting. Maintain version control and document all release processes and scripts. Required Technical Skills: Windows Server, Linux, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, PowerShell, Bash, KSH, VBS, SQL, Git, SVN, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Atlassian Jira, server administration, deployment automation, scripting, release documentation.
