Senior Release Manager

As a Release Manager at NiCE, you will play a crucial role in driving and coordinating all software release activities to deliver the Proactive AI Agent platform. Your responsibilities will include leading efforts to enhance release management processes, increase automation, and ensure high-quality releases that meet a 99.99% uptime SLA. You will be tasked with owning and driving the end-to-end software release process across Proactive AI Agent teams, coordinating project planning, scheduling, and activity management to ensure timely and effective delivery of high-quality enterprise releases. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams, including R&D Engineering, QA, Product Management, Marketing, Documentation, Training, Operations, and Support, for releases of varying sizes and complexities. Your role will involve communicating professionally with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Release Management team with clarity and leadership, and ensuring readiness and success criteria are met in alignment with business requirements in collaboration with Product Operations. You will also manage R&D change control processes, support ITIL Problem and Change Management efforts, and assist in developing automation and scripting to streamline the software development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in the SDLC managing multiple concurrent software releases and 1+ years of Project or Release Management experience. Familiarity with SDLC, release readiness, and enterprise-level software applications is essential. In addition to technical expertise, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication, collaboration, facilitation, and organizational abilities. The ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver under pressure in deadline-driven environments is crucial. Knowledge of Configuration Management and CI/CD practices, as well as experience in software development or application testing, will be advantageous for this role.
