Position Overview

Senior


This is a client-facing, target-driven role that requires strong communication, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage the full recruitment cycle.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development

  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients within the oil & gas sector (operators, EPCs, consultancies, fabrication yards, and service providers).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, HR teams, and hiring managers.
  • Understand client requirements, project scopes, and workforce needs to propose tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, service agreements, and capability presentations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.


Recruitment & Candidate Sourcing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from requisition intake to offer negotiation and placement.
  • Source candidates using multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, databases, networking, referrals, and direct headhunting).
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates against technical, cultural, and client requirements.
  • Maintain and expand a network of professionals,
  • Provide career advice, interview preparation, and market insights to candidates.
  • Account & Process Management

    • Maintain accurate records of clients, vacancies, and candidates.
    • Ensure compliance with recruitment best practices, ethical standards, and local labor laws.
    • Meet and exceed revenue, placement, and business development targets.


    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
    • Minimum

      5 years of recruitment experience

      , with at least 2 years in

      oil & gas

      or

      technical recruitment

      .
    • Proven track record in

      business development and client acquisition

      within energy, engineering, or industrial sectors.
    • Strong sourcing expertise, including

      headhunting and passive candidate engagement

      .
    • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
    • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and consultative approach.
