Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Senior QA (Manual preferred):

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Lead QA initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, designers) to understand features and technical implementation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression, performance, and functional testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs; perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Improve and scale test frameworks and QA tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and industry regulations.
• Provide detailed feedback and documentation on defects and quality trends.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles.
• Individuals must have experience in testing Web and Mobile(Android/iOS) applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber)
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

We will be even happier if you have:

• Automation testing using Selenium is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Java or C++.
• Should know to make project videos with good background music and editing.
• Be a QA Trainer - Can train new people how to become a pro in QA from novice.
• Can have managerial and leadership skills so that a QA is able to manage projects and lead a better team.
