Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Execute automated test suites for regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects; work with developers for resolution.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Continuously improve automation scripts and testing processes.
• Write clear and concise test plans and documentation.
• Perform code reviews of test scripts and provide constructive feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing
• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps processes.
