Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer

You will be responsible for working as part of the development team in Gurgaon, building and customizing storefronts, and integrating with 3rd party systems. Your role will involve collaborating with other engineers to enhance technology and consistently apply best practices. You will work closely with business analysts, technical architects, and product owners to understand business requirements and develop high-quality and maintainable solutions. Your responsibilities will include translating business and marketing challenges into well-designed solutions, designing, coding, unit testing, and reviewing iterative improvements to the platform. As part of your role, you will need to stay updated with emerging Salesforce Commerce Cloud trends and recommend relevant solutions. You will also be involved in business manager configurations, including content slots and assets, promotions, coupons, campaigns, and extending the Salesforce Commerce Cloud data model. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and deploying activities on different SFCC instances and participating in code and data replication processes. To excel in this position, you should have 2-5 years of development experience with SFCC and experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). A strong background in server-side and client-side JavaScript development, along with a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles, is essential. While a Salesforce B2C Commerce developer certification is beneficial, it is not mandatory. You should also possess a solid foundation in design and architectural patterns, experience with git source control and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence, and familiarity with agile development methodologies. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, are key requirements for this role.,
