Senior QA Test Engineer

Job Description

Senior Quality/Test Engineer Must have Skills: Develop, document and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience testing Restful APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Performance testing (e.g.JMeter). Perform Functional, Regression, Integration and system testing on Mobile &Web-application. Writing and executing the SQL queries for database testing. Elastic search Index executing the queries, validating the data on the Index. Collecting and reporting quality metrics like defect density, test coverage, and release readiness. Experience on providing regular feedback to stakeholders regarding product quality and test progress. Identify, log and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g.JIRA). Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives). Nice to have skills: Experience in developing and automate test scripts using the tool playwright. Understanding the database concepts like schemas, tables, and stored procedures. Performing various types of database testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing. Develop and execute the API automation scripts with tools like Postman, JMeter.
