Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, design, write, and validate functional test cases prior to automation.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using

  Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured

  .
• Design and customize automation frameworks (

  Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, Hybrid models

  ).
• Perform

  manual testing

  to validate functionality before automation.
• Conduct

  Web Services/API testing

  using

  Rest Assured, Postman, and SOAP UI

  .
• Execute

  database testing

  and

  Unix batch job testing

  .
• Work with

  Maven

  and

  Jenkins

  for continuous integration.
• Use

  CICD tools

  such as

  GitHub

  and Jenkins for code management and deployment.
• (Added Advantage) Work with

  AWS DevOps Services

  including CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, EKS, and Docker.
• Ensure best testing practices and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure defect-free product releases.
• Provide regular test progress updates, defect reports, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–7 years

  of strong hands-on experience in automation testing with

  Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Manual Testing

  concepts, processes, and methodologies.
• Expertise in

  Java

  programming and

  OOPS concepts

  .
• Experience with

  automation framework design/customization

  (Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, Hybrid).
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  tools (Rest Assured, Postman, SOAP UI).
• Solid experience in

  database testing

  (SQL) and

  Unix batch job testing

  .
• Experience with build and CI tools (

  Maven, Jenkins

  ) and version control systems (

  GitHub

  ).
• Knowledge of

  CICD processes

  .
• Good to have: Knowledge of

  AWS DevOps services

  (CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, EKS, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in collaboration with a team.
