Role Overview: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Naehas, you will have the opportunity to expand your talents by directly participating in the testing of the SaaS product. You will work with microservices/products using manual and automated testing procedures in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Your visibility within the team will be high, and there are opportunities for rapid advancement. It is essential to have a sound understanding of testing and various concepts for implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in Automation Frameworks, with proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks. Knowledge of Selenium and TestNG is a must, while familiarity with Cypress and Playwright is beneficial. - Comfortable generating complex test datasets using SQL and scripting, with basic query skills required. - Experience in Agile environments and tools like Jira, Confluence, and version control systems (Git/Subversion). - Strong Programming Skills, with advanced proficiency in Java. Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or C# is advantageous. - Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable test scripts. - Comprehensive Understanding of QA Principles, including deep knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and SDLC/Agile practices. - Skilled in identifying edge cases, writing test plans, and creating detailed test reports. - API Testing and Automation expertise, including testing and automating RESTful and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. - Performance and Scalability Testing proficiency, with the ability to use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust to identify bottlenecks and validate scalability under peak loads. - Advanced Debugging and Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing issues in distributed systems and experience with observability tools like logz.io, Splunk, or Grafana. - Strong Collaboration and Documentation Skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, write clear documentation, and mentor junior team members. Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech from a top-tier college. - 4-6 years of experience in a product development environment. - Strong testing aptitude to quickly learn and become a power user of the Naehas platform. - Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams. - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
