Senior Python Developer

We’re Hiring: Senior Python Developer (4+ Years of Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems using Python.

- Manage and optimize web scraping tools for large-scale data extraction projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend APIs.

- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.

- Develop and maintain Python scripts for ETL processes.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications on Linux-based systems.

- Handle complex data structures (JSON, XML, CSV, HTML) ensuring data integrity.

- Stay updated with the latest trends in Python, web scraping, and backend technologies.

- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in data workflows.

- Ensure compliance with web security protocols and ethical scraping practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Python development with a strong focus on backend and web scraping.

- Proficiency in Python frameworks/libraries (Flask, Django, Selenium, BeautifulSoup).

- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.

- Strong knowledge of databases (MongoDB, MySQL) and query optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and automation.

- Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale web scrapers and data pipelines.

- Understanding of multi-threading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming.

- Solid knowledge of OOP, design principles, and patterns.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of JavaScript/React for collaboration with front-end teams.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.

- Awareness of data security and legal considerations in web scraping.
