Highlights: Job Title: Senior Proposal Engineer / Proposal Manager Location: Chennai Experience: 6 to 10 years Salary: Fixed + Performance Incentives Industry: Oil & Gas, Process Equipment, EPC, Engineering Services Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Process Engineering Job Description: Sungov is hiring an experienced Proposal Engineer / Manager to lead techno-commercial bids for engineered process equipment and skid-mounted packages (filters, vessels, heat exchangers, gas skids, etc.). Key Responsibilities: Interpret RFQs, P&IDs, and specifications to develop detailed technical and commercial proposals. Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for accurate costing and delivery timelines. Prepare compliance matrices, deviation lists, and supporting documentation. Handle pre- and post-bid technical discussions and client clarifications. Track proposals and drive continuous improvements in the bidding process. Must-Have Skills: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in proposal engineering for capital/process equipment or modular skid systems. Knowledge of ASME/API/TEMA codes. Exposure to international project bids is an advantage. Strong Excel, costing, and documentation skills. Clear communicator with ability to work under deadlines.
