Position: Maintenance Head Location: Tirupati Plant Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance Strategy & Planning Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure minimal downtime by proactive maintenance planning. Establish annual maintenance budgets and monitor adherence. 2. Team Leadership Lead and mentor the maintenance team across mechanical, electrical, utility, and instrumentation functions. Conduct skill gap assessments and initiate technical training programs. Monitor team KPIs and ensure accountability. 3. Plant Equipment & Asset Management Ensure the health and efficiency of plant machinery and equipment (HPDC, CNCs, Compressors, Utility Systems, etc.). Monitor critical spares, equipment lifecycle, and calibration schedules. Ensure timely installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery. 4. Cost Optimization Optimize energy consumption and utility costs. Explore cost-saving opportunities through vendor negotiation and internal process improvements. Manage AMC contracts and evaluate vendor performance. 5. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory compliance related to machinery and utilities. Collaborate with EHS to implement safety audits and corrective actions. Maintain records for ISO, IATF, TPM, and other audits. 6. Breakdown Management Analyze root causes of equipment breakdowns and initiate corrective/preventive actions. Maintain MTBF/MTTR benchmarks. Maintain breakdown logs and generate monthly reports. 7. Cross-functional Collaboration Coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects, and Stores for seamless plant operations. Support Capex projects and contribute to plant expansions or modernization efforts. Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics. 18-25 years of experience in maintenance with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Experience in die casting / automotive component manufacturing Experience in SAP

The role will be responsible for leading NPD, Engineering, APQP, PPAW, and Machining activities , ensuring flawless execution of new projects, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end NPD process from concept to SOP for die-casting components. Drive APQP activities and ensure PPAP submissions as per customer timelines. Manage PPAW (Product & Process Approval Workflow) to ensure timely approvals. Oversee and improve process engineering in die-casting and machining operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Projects, Supply Chain) to meet project milestones. Represent the organization in technical discussions with OEMs and Tier-1 customers. Ensure delivery on QCD parameters (Quality, Cost, Delivery) during development phases. Build, guide, and mentor a high-performing NPD and engineering team.
