Job Purpose

Head – Business Excellence

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall

    Business Excellence strategy

    , ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and drive

    process improvement initiatives

    using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM methodologies.
  • Define, monitor, and manage

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    such as efficiency, cost, quality, and

    Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

    .
  • Champion a

    continuous improvement mindset

    and promote a high-performance culture across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth implementation of excellence initiatives.
  • Manage

    end-to-end project execution

    from planning to implementation, ensuring delivery of strategic benefits.
  • Partner with stakeholders to integrate new systems, processes, and improvement frameworks.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies impacting plant performance.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Experience:

    14–16 years of relevant experience in

    Business Excellence / Operational Excellence

    .

Knowledge & Skills

  • Certifications:

    Master Black Belt or equivalent in Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in

    Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM

    methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Proficiency in

    data analysis, performance tracking, and process improvement tools

    .
  • Sound understanding of

    Inventory Management and Statistics

    .
  • Knowledge of

    Quality Management Systems (QMS), IATF standards

    , and continuous improvement practices.
  • Commercial acumen

    with the ability to link operational excellence to business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, change management, and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Mandatory:

    Proficiency in SAP.
