Job Description

Job Title:

Role Overview

New Product Development (NPD)

Key Responsibilities

Lead the
end-to-end NPD process
from concept to SOP for die-casting components.
Drive
APQP
activities and ensure
PPAP
submissions as per customer timelines.
Manage
PPAW
(Product & Process Approval Workflow) to ensure timely approvals.
Oversee and improve process engineering in die-casting and machining operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Projects, Supply Chain) to meet project milestones.
Represent the organization in technical discussions with OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
Ensure delivery on
QCD parameters
(Quality, Cost, Delivery) during development phases.
Build, guide, and mentor a high-performing NPD and engineering team.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong technical expertise in
die-casting and machining processes
.
Proven experience in
NPD, APQP, and PPAP
execution.
Ability to lead customer interactions and manage multiple new product launches.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Familiarity with
IATF 16949 / ISO systems
and automotive standards.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum
15 years of experience
in die-casting, machining, and product development (automotive preferred).
