Role & responsibilities The position calls for working as UG modeller with responsibilities for 3D modelling and extraction of drawings for underground utilities etc. for Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Fertilizers and Refinery type of projects. Preferred candidate profile 5 to 8 years' experience in Revit Underground (UG) 3D modelling of gravity networks, E & I directly buried / trenched cables system, paving, road and yards etc. and extracting composite layouts.
We need a number of CAD modellers & 2D draftsmen to work on plant modelling for the oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, and other process plant industries on a 3D platform, either from Plant GA drawings or scanned Point Cloud Data. Candidates who have attended CADWORX, E3D, SP3D, Revit, Plant 3D courses elsewhere from private institutions and yet not employed, will also be considered. Freshers, individuals, or professional subcontractors may also apply who have the above basic qualification. Work from home shall also be considered. The suitable candidates will be trained on several platforms in 3D modelling to convert scanned point cloud data to a 3D primitive model towards Digital Twin projects. Candidates will also be given necessary training in necessary software as well as V-Suite which is a platform towards converting models to Digital Twin. Our primitive models will be further processed by our clients in either Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, V-Suite, E3D, SP3D, Cad Worx, MicroStation etc through our associates or sub-contractors. Role & responsibilities Review and interpret engineering drawings, plant general arrangement (GA) drawings, specifications, and other design documents to understand the layout and components of the process plant. Use CAD softwares to create detailed 3D models of process plants. Represent equipment, piping systems, structures, and other components in the model, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Work with scanned point cloud data to incorporate existing plant conditions into the 3D model. Ensure seamless integration of point cloud data with the CAD model. Collaborate with process engineers, piping designers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes, resolve conflicts, and optimize the overall plant layout. Conduct regular quality checks on 3D models to ensure they meet project standards, specifications, and client requirements. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in the models. Perform 100% QC on all models. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the modelling process, including assumptions, design decisions, and any deviations from original design documents. Travel to clients’ plants in India and Abroad. Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones, coordinating with the project team to ensure timely delivery of 3D models.
