Project Manager

Sungov Engineering, established in 1986, designs & manufactures engineered equipment such as strainers, filters, pressure vessels, QOCs, and heat-transfer equipment for oil & gas, power, & process industries.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (8-12 yrs) to manage post-order project execution for engineered equipment. You will act as the single point owner for the project ensuring Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement & Production deliver on time, while handling customer interactions professionally. This is a high-responsibility role for candidates who enjoy ownership and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from order handover to dispatch
• Build and track project schedules as per contract
• Drive Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement & Production for timely deliverables
• Coordinate customer meetings, inspections & technical discussions
• Manage approval cycles for drawings, ITPs, QA documents, vendor documents
• Identify risks/delays early and escalate to internal teams
• Ensure committed delivery dates & quality standards
• Handle customer escalations professionally
• Support mentoring of junior project engineers

Required Education & Experience

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering
• 8-12 years in project execution for: Pressure vessels / filters / strainers / static equipment / heat exchangers / skids
• Strong understanding of fabrication, QA/QC, ITP, BOM, and inspection workflows
• Hands-on coordination experience with Engineering, QA, Production & Procurement
• Experience dealing with TPI agencies, customer engineers & approval cycles

• Ability to read mechanical drawings & datasheets
• Strong follow-up and multi-project handling capability
• Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi mandatory)
