Job Summary

Our Client Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Civil) to lead and deliver large scale institutional and hospitality infrastructure projects. The role involves end-to-end project management including planning, execution, cost control, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, and timely delivery of projects in line with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of civil construction projects for educational campuses and hospitality facilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety norms, and quality standards

• Monitor cost control, billing, BOQ, and contract management

• Conduct progress reviews, risk assessment, and mitigation planning

• Oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes

• Handle vendor evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per specifications

• Prepare and present project MIS reports to senior management

• Manage handover, snag-list closure, and documentation

• Mentor and guide site engineers and project teams

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

• Masters degree will be an added advantage

Experience

• 10-15 years of proven experience in project management for civil construction

• Prior experience in education institutions, campuses, hotels, hostels, hospitals, or large commercial projects preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and execution

• Expertise in BOQ, billing, contracts, tendering, and cost control

• Familiarity with MS Project / Primavera / AutoCAD (working knowledge) • Understanding of local building codes, statutory approvals, and compliance

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

Preferred Attributes

• Experience managing multi-location or large campus projects

• Exposure to green building / sustainability practices

• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
