Senior Project Estimator – Interior Design Firm
Minimum 5 years experience in BOQ & estimation for interior design projects

We’re looking for a detail‑driven estimator who can turn design concepts into accurate, profitable numbers. If you love crunching quantities, negotiating with vendors, and seeing a project go from concept to client‑approved budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for bids and contract revisions, including a full Bill of Materials and labor breakdown .
• Perform quantity take‑offs from design drawings, schematics and 3D models to capture every fixture, finish and furniture item.
• Prepare professional proposals that combine material, equipment and labor costs, and present them to clients and senior management .
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects and contractors to clarify scope, validate measurements and ensure all design elements are accounted for .
• Manage the bid process: solicit and evaluate vendor quotes, negotiate terms, and track subcontractor commitments .
• Maintain up‑to‑date cost databases and historical pricing to improve future estimates and support value‑engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate site visits to verify measurements, assess constructability and identify potential cost‑impact issues early .
• Review and reconcile BOQs with design development drawings, ensuring that any changes are reflected in the budget .
• Provide cost analysis and progress updates to project managers and finance, helping the team stay on budget and schedule.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of BOQ and estimation experience specifically in interior design or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to read and interpret design drawings, CAD files and 3D visualizations.
• Strong proficiency with estimation software (e.g., BuilderTrend, ProEst, PlanSwift) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; comfortable presenting to clients and senior leadership.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
