Senior Project Engineer-Electromechanical Design - HVDC

The Electromechanical design engineer plays a crucial role in understanding the technical requirements for the Primary engineering of HVDC converter station, Installation drawings, and detail design of yard materials to ensure the safety of the end equipment and HVDC station as a whole. Your impact will be significant as you ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and all multidisciplinary information is included. You will lead the development of new solutions for complex projects, drive the completion of all engineering activities, and coordinate engineering disciplines across multiple projects. Additionally, you will provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities, prepare project documents, and act as a design authority for the Electromechanical engineering discipline. In this role, you will focus on delivering cost-effective quality solutions within budget and contract, ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigating potential risks. You will interact with customers, officials, contractors, and the supply chain while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines. To qualify for this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, along with 8 to 12 years of experience in Designing the Primary Layout of Electrical UHV/EHV substation projects. Proficiency in advanced 3D CAD & PLM tools such as NX/Teamcenter or similar tools is required, along with knowledge and experience in MS Office applications like Word and Excel.
