WWF-India is one of the largest organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation over the past 50 years. We are seeking applications from candidates who have inherent interest in nature conservation, as a Senior Programme Officer, to be a part of the team in our Bangalore Office. As a Senior Programme Officer in the conservation sector , your broad responsibilities would be to work in fundraising , sales , corporate employee engagement, citizen outreach, media strategy and supporting the State office in other areas of work in environment education, projects etc . This is a cross functional role and you would be responsible for building relationships and partnerships with corporates for CSR/Grants funding, employee engagement programs, workplace giving, driving conservation product sales in the State and engaging with citizens and youth across the State to increase public awareness and citizen connect. You would also be expected to supporting ongoing work/ projects in our State, engage with educational institutes and increase volunteer base. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Job Profile: Initiate, establish and develop relationships with corporates to achieve fundraising targets set for the financial year in consultation with your manager. Initiate and drive sales of conservation products and achieve targets set for the financial year, in consultation with your manager. Represent WWF India in discussions, meetings, events and activities as decided by your Manager. Initiate and establish relationships with media houses to cover WWF India work in the State. Develop relationships and liaise with Govt. departments, local communities and other stakeholders, where necessary. Manage projects/tasks/ activities assigned and ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Support other program teams and State Office, where required. Efficiently manage either independently or with the support of KSO team/ volunteers, activities such as Nature trails, Clean up drives, Dragon Fly Festival etc. as may be required. Conduct research and assist in the development of proposals for potential projects, where required. You may also be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager from time to time. Requirements Desired Qualification, Experience and Skills: Bachelors or Masters Degree Graduate Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, fundraising, sales, client-facing roles is essential.
